Hey kids! Steve Cook here with you for the latest edition of WWE Raw on Netflix! We’ve got three big matches already announced for tonight’s show, including LA Knight taking on Jacob Fatu! Jacob told us earlier today he wouldn’t be there, but he’s deleted the tweets so either he spoiled some shenanigans or got told he better be there. We’ll find out tonight!

We open with a recap of Saturday Night’s Main Event. Fatal Influence became the new Women’s Tag Team Champions. Danhausen got help from Karl-Anthony Towns to beat JD McDonagh. Lyra Valkyria beat the hell out of Bayley. Nick Aldis screwed Gunther over so Cody Rhodes & CM Punk could have a singles match at SummerSlam. Jalen Brunson & Tyrese Haliburton appeared to help the Seth Rollins/Roman Reigns storyline along.

We’re in Detroit! The Vision are WALKING! Penta & Chad Gable are WALKING! Jacob Fatu is WALKING! LA Knight is WALKING! Michael Cole & Corey Graves are our hosts.

Non-Title Match: The Vision (Austin Theory & Bron Breakker w/Maxxine Dupri & Logan Paul) vs. Je’Von Evans & Dragon Lee: Well, Adam Pearce was still wrong on one thing in his hype video, he told us Seth Rollins would open the show and he is not. Lee & Evans attack during the entrance and the match gets started early. Theory works Lee over in the corner, Lee hits a rana, tag to Evans, who hits a dropkick to knock Theory down. Breakker tags in and Evans gets dropped with a double flapjack. Overhead throw by Breakker. Evans flips out of the way of Breakker and tags Lee. DDT on Breakker gets two. Logan Paul with the DISTRACTION to Lee, which enables Breakker to drop Lee on a cross-body attempt. We go to commercial!

Commercial Musings: The announcers seem too interested in why Paul Heyman isn’t with the Vision here. They already have two people at ringside, why do they need a third?

We return and Lee is ready to make a tag to Evans. Evans evades Theory and hits a Stunner. Evans dives onto Theory outside. Breakker runs into the timekeeper’s area like an idiot, and Evans runs around the ring and dives into him. Springboard clothesline to Theory in the ring gets two. Lee tags in, hits the double stomp onto Theory in the Tree of Woe. Logan & Maxxine both distract Lee so Theory can hit a neckbreaker for two. Theory holds Lee for a 23 mph spear from Breakker for three.

Winners: The Vision (6:42 shown via pinfall)

Otis & Tozawa come down afterwards to save Evans & Lee from a post-match beatdown. Maxxine slaps Otis again. Otis responds by splashing Breakker & Theory in the corner. Otis & Tozawa clear the table, but Breakker spears Otis before they can put Theory through the table. Theory holds Otis for the 23 mph spear in the ring. The Vision celebrates.

We see a hype video for the return of Big Cass.

Danhausen’s music hits! He makes his way to the ring carrying a bag while being very nice & very evil. He says hello to the Detroithausens. The Judgment Day still want their human monies back, he doesn’t really want them, but he doesn’t want the Judgment Day to have them, so he asks the fans if they want them.

Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh & Liv Morgan come down to the ring and demand their monies. Danhausen says they’re cursed, and they start beating him down. Nobody said his name, but Joe Hendry appears! Hendry fallaway slams JD & clotheslines Dom over the top rope. Liv grabs the bag, so presumably the Judgment Day has their human monies back. They may still be cursed.

We go backstage and apparently the human monies in the bag were fake! JD throws the bag in the direction of Oba Femi. Oba is not happy and demands a match with JD. Dom says that isn’t fair, so Adam Pearce, who was here for all of this, books Dom against Joe Hendry later tonight.

Oba Femi vs. JD McDonagh (w/Dominik Mysterio): Danhausen & Hendry throw JD & Dom into the ring so Oba can eject them. Dom gets thrown over the top rope. Multiple uppercuts to JD. JD gets thrown across the ring. Fall From Grace, see ya later.

Winner: Oba Femi (:53 via pinfall)

Oba tells us there’s no more nonsense and he’ll see Brock at Hell in a Cell.

LA Knight gets ready for his match later with Royce Keys by his side talking strategy.

Michael & Corey’s endless plugs are interrupted by Solo Sikoa appearing at ringside. He’s not supposed to be on this show but he has a proposition to make. He asks Seth Rollins to get out here now, and Seth does so.

Seth welcomes Solo to Monday Night Rollins since he doesn’t go here. He asks Solo what he can do for him, and wants to know if they’re talking or fighting. Solo wishes to talk. He knows Seth is focused on Roman, but it’s not just a one on one situation, it’s Seth vs the whole Bloodline. Solo knows the gameplan, and knows Seth doesn’t have a chance at SummerSlam, but it doesn’t have to be like that. Solo can watch Seth’s back at SummerSlam. Seth says Solo makes a lot of good points, let him think about it. Solo insists there’s nothing to think about. Solo reminds Seth of what Seth did for Cody back in the day, and he can do the same for Seth.

Jacob Fatu comes down, and Solo vacates the ring. Seth attacks Jacob while his back is turned, and heads back to the locker room.

We see Chad Gable & Penta go face to face at the SummerSlam Kickoff yesterday. Mutual respect was shown.

Penta & Chad Gable vs. “All Ego” Ethan Page & Rusev: Corey points out the ridiculousness of Gable’s quest to right all his wrongs against the luchadores by taking Penta’s Intercontinental Championship. There’s a bit of a logic gap going on here. Rusev & Page attack right away. Penta gets double suplexed for a near-fall. Penta fights back, Chad takes Rusev & Page down with a clothesline off the top rope. Rusev drops Penta on the apron as we go to commercial.

Gable & Page tag in and Gable hits some German suplexes. Rusev gets suplexed as well. Angle Slam on Page gets two. Page evades the moonsault, Rusev tags in, Gable gets several shots before getting slammed down for two. Penta breaks in and sends Page outside so he can dive onto him. Gable & Rusev trade punches. Rusev gets the Accolade! Gable hangs on…he breaks out! Rusev headbutts him, sends Gable into Penta, but Gable gets an ankle lock on Rusev! Penta takes out a charging Page with a Mexican Destroyer, and Rusev taps out!

Winners: Penta & Chad Gable (5:31 shown via submission)

More mutual respect shown between Chad & Penta afterwards.

Seth Rollins walks backstage and wants Jacob Fatu to hit him. Jacob can’t since he’s under strict orders not to. He wants to know if he beats Roman he’ll get his title and his bag boy too. Jacob says he’ll beat Seth’s ass after SummerSlam if there’s anything left.

Paul Heyman serves as the advocate for Brock Lesnar. Apparently someone asked him not to use the word “violence” when describing Hell in a Cell. I don’t believe that for a second, but Paul uses it to launch into his promo. He calls Oba Femi Oba-rated, says that he’s had the best rookie year since Brock Lesnar. Oba thinks he can end Brock’s streak in Hell in a Cell, but no one can. Oba’s rookie year will come to a violent end in Minneapolis because of Brock Lesnar.

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson does his best to help SummerSlam ticket sales.

Dominik Mysterio (w/Liv Morgan) vs. Joe Hendry: Dom attacks Joe right after the bell. Joe with a shoulderblock, some shots in the corners. Stalling vertical suplex by Hendry. Dom sends Hendry outside, but gets caught on a dive attempt and dropped on the announce desk. Liv sends Hendry into the ringpost, then Danhausen comes out to get smacked down by Liv. We go to commercial.

We return to Dom working Joe over on the mat and then going to the chinlock. Well, we went back for a second, then got a black screen and then went back to the action. Joe works out of the chinlock and hits a suplex. Another fallaway slam by Hendry, kipup and the pose! The Hit Single clothesline gets two. Liv with the distraction, Dom hits a DDT. Danhausen is back, he’s driving a vehicle and IYO SKY is with him! IYO & Liv fight with each other. Liv gets sent into the apron, she rolls into the ring and IYO hits a dropkick. Crossbody to the floor by Liv on Liv. Danhausen hits the reverse DDT on Dom, and Joe covers for three! Somehow the referee managed to miss all of the outside interference happening here, which either makes him the best or worst referee in the business. I’m not sure.

Winner: Joe Hendry (6:49 shown via pinfall)

After another SNME recap, Cole & Graves let us know that Dom vs. Danhausen will take place at SummerSlam.

LA Knight enters the ring and wants to talk to us! He’s standing in the Dirty D and we’re a couple of weeks away from SummerSlam. He’s in a six man tag team match there, but he heard Solo come out here earlier and talk about helping Seth Rollins. The fans were saying “what”, he was saying “huh” because he couldn’t believe it. Solo talking about helping Seth at SummerSlam makes him sick. Roman took years to get people to like him, LA walked in the door and everyone liked him from the beginning. He’s everything the people in the back want to be. Solo’s focused on the wrong thing. He appreciates what Solo’s done against the Bloodline, but helping Seth is a bridge too far. Jacob can’t stop LA Knight, LA will slap him back to factory settings.

LA Knight vs. Jacob Fatu: We join the match in progress! LA hits a flying clothesline on Jacob. They trade punches. LA works Jacob over in the corner before getting slapped down. LA knocks Jacob’s knee off the ringpost, then hits a chop block in the ring. Jacob kicks LA out of the ring, then hits a tope suicida. LA gets sent into the barricade. LA sends Jacob into the steps and Jacob does the Cactus Jack bump into them. Jacob’s ok though, he bounces LA off the apron. LA kicks Jacob into the announce table and bounces his head off of it before getting sent into the ringpost. Fatu misses Knight and hits the steps. LA bounces Jacob’s head off the steps. LA hits a flying clothesline on the floor and we go to commercial.

Jacob is on top with a nervehold as we return, LA fights out and then evades a Stinger Splash in the corner. A backbreaker gets two for LA. LA goes up top, gets knocked down so Fatu can elbow him on the top rope for two. LA tries a superplex, does the jump up top so he can do it. Jimmy Uso makes his way to the ring and encourages Jacob. Solo re-appears and attacks Jimmy! Jacob dives onto Solo to break that up, then gets back into the ring so he can get punched by Knight. LA avoids the Samoan Drop and hits the BFT, but Jimmy distracts the referee. Royce Keys comes down and attacks Jimmy. Now Jey Uso’s music plays so he can appear, and Jey superkicks Keys a couple of times. Knight kicks Jey down, but then gets Samoan Dropped by Fatu. Jacob hits the moonsault for the three count!

Winner: Jacob Fatu (9:25 shown via pinfall)

Solo attacks Jacob after the bell, Jimmy & Jey come in and attack him, and there’s Royce. Roysce spinebusts Jacob, but gets 1-Ded by the Usos. Knight attacks them, Jacob gives him the ol’ Tongan Death Grip before they all back it up in the corner on him. Jey hits the Uso Splash on Knight. Jacob, Jimmy & Jey put their ones in the air and stand over LA, Solo & Royce as our live event comes to an end. So long for now!
