The recently signed TNA Wrestling star, Joseph Sawyer, will no longer be able to compete at Pro Wrestling Revolver’s upcoming REVOLVER IX: Tales From the Ring event slated for this weekend.
Per PWR’s announcement (see below), Sawyer was forced to withdraw from the event due to a minor injury. Sawyer’s originally scheduled opponents, Revolver World Champion Damian Chambers and Mance Warner, will now face each other in a singles No DQ bout.
The announcement reads, “Due to a minor injury sustained over the weekend, Joseph Sawyer unfortunately has to pull out of our event this Friday. We love Joseph and wish him a speedy recovery. He WILL be back at Revolver SOON. Damian Chambers will now defend the Revolver World Title, 1-on-1, No DQ Vs. Mance Warner!”
As noted, Sawyer and his syX tag team partner, Samuel Shaw, will appear on tomorrow’s TNA iMPACT! They previously debuted on last week’s show, attacking The Hardys. It was later announced that the former WWE Superstars and Tag Champs officially signed with TNA Wrestling.
