Kelani Jordan Beats Kendal Grey, Captures Women’s Title at WWE NXT Heatwave 2026

WWE NXT has a new Women’s Champion. Kendal Grey and Kelani Jordan delivered an impressive clinic at today’s NXT Heatwave 2026 event in Edinburg, Texas, but Jordan managed to score the upset, beating Grey to win her first NXT Women’s Title.
Ultimately, the finish came when Kelani Jordan managed to exploit an exposed bottom turnbuckle in the ring. She pulled Grey into the ring and hit her with the exposed bolt. She followed that up with a Split-Legged Moonsault to score the pinfall victory.
Kendal Grey’s title run comes to an end after nine weeks (63) days. She won the belt in June at the Great American Bash. This marks the first NXT Women’s Title Run of Jordan’s career. The Standout is also the inaugural NXT Women’s North American Champion.
