Kyle Fletcher Retains AEW International Title Against Bandido At AEW Redemption

It was a hard-fought battle, but Kyle Fletcher was able to keep hold on the AEW International Championship against Bandido at AEW Redemption. Fletcher put his title on the line against the ROH World Champion at Sunday’s PPV, a match that went about a little over 26 minutes.

Bandido gave Fletcher a real challenge and got several nearfalls after hitting Fletcher with his high-impact aerial offense. At one point he even hit a frog splash from the top rope to the ringside floor.

However, Fletcher proved his resilience and ultimately was able to pick up the win. He got the pinfall after a Turnbuckle Brainbuster.

You can see clips from the AEW Redemption match below. Fletcher’s title reign stands at 18 days, having defeated Konosuke Takeshita for the title at AEW Dynamite: Beach Break. He will next defend the title against Mike Bailey, who won a title shot in the opening match of the PPV.
