LA Knight Wins United States Title at WWE Summerslam

LA Knight is the new United States champion, defeating Logan Paul in his hometown of Cleveland at WWE Summerslam. Paul, who was not cheered by his hometown crowd, came out with MGK. The rapper then sat at ringside for the match, eventually trying to help Paul. He handed him brass knuckles, which he used on Knight. He tried to finish him off, but Knight avoided it and hit the BFT for the win.

This is Knight’s first title on the main roster, although he did hold the Million Dollar title in NXT. He ends Paul’s first US title reign at 274 days, after he won it on November 4, 2023.
