Aero Star and Laredo Kid vs. Fraxiom
-Laredo Kid is ½ of the AAA Mixed Tag Champions. This match should have a quick pace. Kid starts with Frazer and they trade holds and flips and we have a stalemate. Enziguiri from Frazer and in comes Axiom. Star in as well and gets sent to the floor. He tries to stop Axiom from coming off the top, but gets shoved off the apron. The distraction gives Laredo an opening and he gets a two count. He tries to tear off Axiom’s mask as he chokes on the ropes. Star back in and he runs Axiom into the corner. He hits a Stinger Splash in the corner and we get a weird cut to Kid being back in the match. That was weird. We get a sweet double team move were Star springs off the middle ropes and catches Axiom with a Code Breaker as he was being held up by Kid. That was sweet and gets a two count. Axiom avoids a charge and is able to race to his corner to make the hot tag. Frazer runs wild and gets a Sling Blade. He knocks Star off the apron with a boot and then hits a frog splash on Kid for two. I the same corner. Axiom back in gets caught with a Michinoku Driver. Star back in and he and Kid head up top and Star comes off Kid’s shoulders with a splash for two. That was pretty wild! Frazer flies in to make the save and he sends Kid to the floor. Star back up top, but Axiom catches him with an enziguiri. SPANISH FLY! Frazier with a tope con hilo. Golden Ratio to Star gets the pin at 5:44.
Winners: Fraxiom via pin at 5:44
-Nice little tag match that started rolling by the end. **3/4

The Wagner Brothers (Galeno and El Hijo de Dr Wagner Jr.) vs. The LWO (Cruz del Toro and Joaquin Wilde)
-The Wagner Brothers are the AAA World Tag Team Champions, but this is non-title. Cruz and Galeno start us off. Wagner with a shoulder tackle and brings in Wagner. They use tandem offense and get a two count. Wilde is away from his corner as we get some tension from the LWO. Weird! Tandem offense by the LWO as Wilde springs off the ropes with a cross-body after an assist by Cruz. That gets a two count. Cruz back in and he hooks a side headlock. The LWO are definitely playing the heel role in this one. Wagner with a belly-to-back to break and then hits an enziguiri to make the hot tag to Galeno. He runs wild and hits a jumping splash for two as Crus makes the saves. Wagner with a dive to the floor onto the LWO to pop the crowd. Galeno with a reverse suplex back in the ring. Wagner with a splash off Galeno’s shoulders for the pin at 4:55.
Winners: The Wagner Brothers via pin at 4:55
-Kind of a weird match, but it ended up being solid by the end. I liked the opening tag match better, but this was fine. Curious if they are teasing something with the LWO. **1/4
-WWE Live! Tickets on sale now. I did see today they are returning to Pittsburgh after Christmas for the annual Holiday Tour. I may have to see how much they are going for on the secondary market.

Josh Briggs vs. Big Cass
-Big E special here as we have BIG MEATY MEN SLAPPING MEAT. This is Briggs’ fourth appearance on Main Event. Cass got a win over Brooks Jensen a few weeks ago on Main Event. They start trading blows at the bell and then collide with neither man backing down. Cass with a boot to the gut but misses a clothesline. Briggs with a forearm to the back and Cass responds with a heavier shot. They are trading bombs out there and really, best way they can go about this match. They battle over goozle control. Cass backs Briggs up and sends him to the floor with a clothesline. Briggs lands a right hand on the floor, so Cass goes back into the ring. He sucks Briggs in and he kicks the ropes behind the ref’s back as Briggs was trying to get back in. That’s a unique way to deliver a ball shot. Cass drops an elbow and another one and another one. Joseph notes there is an uneasy feeling in the building. I’d say bored as they don’t know Briggs and aren’t into Cass yet as he just came back. Briggs avoids another elbow and starts throwing forearms again. Heavy clothesline, but Cass stays on his feet. Briggs with a running elbow in the corner, but Cass follows out and hits a splash in the corner. He goes for the boot, but Briggs avoids and gets one of his own for a two count. Lariat, but Cass catches him and gets a Black Hole Slam for the pin at 4:28.
Winner: Big Cass via pin at 4:28
-The crowd was out of it for this one, but popped a little for the Black Hole Slam. They hit each other hard and we didn’t get any rest holds, so it was fine. **
-Thanks for reading!
