It’s official: Leon Slater has been pulled from facing Ricochet at Wrestlecon’s Mark Hitchcock Memorial Supershow. Wrestlecon made the announcement on Wednesday that Slater had been pulled from the match by TNA.

The convention wrote:

“Despite being previously cleared by all parties and respective management, Leon Slater has been pulled from this match one week prior to our Memorial event. We will have more to say at a later time, but we wanted to be immediately transparent to all fans.”

The match had been thrown into an uncertain state after TNA pulled Moose from Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling’s Multiverse show on April 18, with TNA President Carlos Silva citing “partner conflicts” as the reason. MJF’s match with Nic Nemeth at Create a Pro has also apparently been called off by TNA for May 1st.

Leon Slater is the current TNA X-Division Champion, and will defend the title against Cedric Alexander at TNA Rebellion on April 11th.
