Lex Luger is putting the kibosh on claims that he’s been hospitalized, addressing the rumor on social media. The WWE Hall of Famer posted to Twitter to share a claim by Sportskeeda that he had been hospitalized, noting that the information is not in fact true.
Luger wrote:
“Hey Everybody.
I was just made aware of this.
False news!!
I’m doing great!!
Weekend off relaxing at home enjoying some hoops and my Buffalo Sabres hockey.”
Luger has suffered from health issues over the years since a spinal stroke in 2007, which resulted in his becoming paralyzed. He has been working with Diamond Dallas Page the last few years and improved his physical condition, to the point that he was able to stand for his WWE Hall of Fame induction over WrestleMania 41 weekend in April of last year.
Luger was at the official Hall of Fame ceremony but missed the Hall of Fame segment at the actual WrestleMania, explaining in an interview afterward that he was simply not feeling up to it. You can see his post to social media below.
