Lineup for 7/18 AAA Show: Rey Mysterio Invites Andrea Bazarte, Latin American Championship Future to be Addressed & More

AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio made several announcements for next week’s episode of Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide on tonight’s show.

During the media scrum on tonight’s episode, Rey was asked about former interviewer Andrea Bazarte. Notably, during the contract signing segment for the Mask vs. Mask match, the OG El Grande Americano demanded that Bazarte leave AAA for the match to go ahead.

Bazarte agreed so that her real-life boyfriend got the match, which Americano ultimately won. Addressing Bazarte, Rey said that he owed her a phone call and invited her to next week’s episode of AAA.

Additionally, Mysterio announced that La Hidera will team up with Laredo Kid next Saturday to take on Joaquin Wilde and Faby Apache. The winner of this match will challenge Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana for the World Mixed Tag Team Championship at Verano de Escándalo.

As noted previously, the Latin American Championship was officially vacated on tonight’s show. Mysterio is set to reveal his plans regarding the process to crown a new champion next Saturday.
