Lola Vice sends a heartfelt message to Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide fans as she bids adieu to the promotion.

Earlier today, AAA released Vice’s interaction with Andre Bazarte following her and Mr. Iguana’s defeat at Verano de Escandalo Week One on YouTube.

Vice reflected on her journey in AAA, stating that the stint helped her appreciate Mexican wrestling culture and its fans and, most importantly, helped her regain her confidence and develop her skills.

Vice also heaped praise on her partner, Mr. Iguana, stating that Iguana’s hilarious antics inside the ring helped her shed nervousness and have fun in the moment.

Lola Vice reflects on her AAA stint

“I remember when they mentioned to me that I was coming to AAA. At first, it was like, ‘Oh, give me three weeks; it’s just going to be like one match,’ right? And I came here, and I fell in love with Mexico. I fell in love with AAA, but much more—I had never wrestled outside of NXT or WWE. So, this right here taught me to appreciate where I was and also to appreciate the wrestlers here in Mexico—how hard they work and how much they wrestle. And it gave me encouragement and motivation to be good and develop my career, because honestly, I want to be the best in the world one day. And I knew that coming to Mexico was the only way I could regain my confidence and develop as a wrestler.

“But then here in Mexico, I met Mr. Iguana and many people and talents who helped me so much and taught me a lot. I was able to take all of that back to NXT. I won the NXT Championship. I worked here and at NXT for a full year doing both, and honestly, I really appreciate it, and I’m grateful for the way the people here love me, because there was a point where I didn’t believe in myself, and they gave me the encouragement to keep going forward. Because I truly believe that I was born for this, and I just want to represent my culture, my family, Latinos, and my grandparents who came to this country with nothing.”

On what she learned from Mr. Iguana

“The best thing I’m taking with me is the memories and being able to be in the ring with Mr. Iguana and seeing him enjoy the moment. That taught me to enjoy what I’m doing, not to get so nervous, and to have fun in the moment. All of that helped me become the wrestler I am today. There’s Lola for a long time to come! One day I will return, a bigger star, but I will never forget the Mexican people and AAA. Thank you for trusting in me. And Mr. Iguana and I will always be together!”

Lola Vice debuted in AAA at Worlds Collide 2025, teaming up with Stephanie Vaquer to defeat Chik Tormenta and Dalys. Earlier this year, she and Mr. Igauna defeated Ethan Page and La Hidera [Chelsea Green’s replacement] to capture the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship. She also rose up the ranks in NXT, capturing the Women’s Championship at Stand & Deliver 2026.

Vice and Mr. Iguana lost tag team gold to La Hiedra and Laredo Kid at Verano de Escandalo Week One. She also lost the NXT Women’s Title to Kendal Grey at The Great American Bash and failed to regain it in an Underground Match last Tuesday night. Vice bid farewell to the NXT audience after the match, as she is main roster-bound.
