Lyra Valkyria Puts Bayley to Sleep at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event: NYC

Lyra Valkyria showcased her brutal side at tonight’s Saturday Night’s Main Event at The Garden in New York City as she vanquished Bayley via submission.

The match proved to be highly physical as the friends-turned-bitter rivals threw their best shots at each other. Lyra got busted up very early in the match, thanks to a vicious punch from Bayley.

The back-and-forth action ultimately led to the Irish star taking out her former tag team partner with a Leg Drop. However, Bayley refused to stay down. She rallied back with a Sunset Flip Powerbomb in the corner and then went for the Rose Plant. However, Lyra managed to avoid it. She then countered an attempted Bayley-to-Belly with the sleeper hold, choking her opponent out and putting her to sleep.

Lyra Valkyria wasn’t done, though, as she executed her submission move on Bayley at the ringside before planting the latter with a Night Wing onto the steel steps.
