Main Event of All In Was Booked For Twice as Long as It Went
September 2, 2018 | Posted by
– The six-man tag team main event for All In was booked for over twice as long as it ended up going, according to a new report. According to Wrestling Observer Radio the Young Bucks & Kota Ibushi vs. Rey Mysterio, Bandido & Fenix match was booked to go twenty-eight minutes, not the twelve it actually ran.
The match was cut short because two matches went longer than expected, namely Hangman Page vs. Joey Janela and Kazuchika Okada vs. Marty Scurll. Okada vs. Scurll went twelve minutes over the alloted time for the match. The show initially had to end by 10:58, but a deal was made for the show to close a minute later. This is the reason for the abrupt end to the show.
Our full report from the event is here.
