Malakai Black shared an emotional tribute to the late Andy “The Butcher” Williams on social media. The WWE and AEW alumnus posted to his Instagram account to remember Williams, who passed away on Saturday evening at the age of 48.
Black wrote:
“I have written and deleted what I am trying to say for days now but I simply can’t find the correct words. All I know is I am going to miss you so much, I cannot believe this is happening. This all feels unnatural, like the wires can’t reconnect. It’s as if there is a crack in space and time and somehow the timeline is now corrupted.
The first one to cheer and support, the last one in the building to make sure you weren’t by yourself. The definition of a good person. No matter who, no matter how: you were his friend. I will never meet another Andy, the world will never see another Andy. The world lost its best friend.
I love you.
Please go out of your way today to tell your friends you love them.”
Williams passed after he collapsed following a match at the the Enjoy Wrestling Five-Year Anniversary show.
