– Maria Kanellis has taken to Twitter to respond to reports that she and Mike Kanellis asked for their WWE releases. Maria posted in response to a report yesterday that the two were unhappy with their position in the company and asked for their releases recently.
Maria also clarified that Mike never went to a rehabilitation facility for his addiction to painkillers and instead “was on the road with me rehabbing.” It is worth noting that Maria did not specifically deny the report that they asked for their release, though she does seem to imply it.
Everyone thinks they know everything. Hahahahaha…. it’s social media not an autobiography. https://t.co/5wlyJgzfF1

Social Media Fact Check: Mike NEVER went to rehap ANYWHERE. He was on the road with me rehabbing. We were on house shows. He never took time off to rehab. He worked through it.
