Matt Sydal Reportedly Returned To The Ring Back in July

Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp reports that according to online reports (as well as Cagematch), Matt Sydal returned to the ring this past July. Prior to that, his last match was for AEW on May 22, 2024, where he faced Konosuke Takeshita on Dynamite. He had surgery in June of that year to fix a foot injury that he suffered back in 2012 during a motorcycle accident.

According to reports, Sydal wrestled and lost to Ultimo Dragon at an ABC event in France.
