A new report sheds light on the contract status of a former AEW World Tag Team Champion.

According to Fightful Select, Max Caster’s AEW contract is set to expire somewhere around October this year.

Max Caster has not been seen on AEW television for the past several months. Though he has been quite active on the independent circuit, he has not wrestled on All Elite Wrestling television this year.

His most recent in-ring outing for the Tony Khan-led company was on the Holiday Bash edition of AEW Dynamite in December 2025, when he participated in the Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royal.

According to Sean Ross Sapp, they have not heard of Caster being backstage in recent months. Notably, last month, Sapp revealed during a Q&A session that Caster had not been factored into any creative plans in recent times. The latest report further added that no discussion between him and AEW has taken place regarding an extension.

Max Caster made his AEW debut in June 2020 and is known for his stint with The Acclaimed (also feat. Anthony Bowens and Billy Gunn). He is a one-time World Tag Team Champion and a one-time World Trios Champion.
