It’s good to be the CEO. Mercedes Mone achieved another big milestone this week. Pro Wrestling Illustrated (PWI) ranked the AEW TBS Champion at the top of the PWI Women’s 250 list for 2025 (see below).
Mone topped the list, with former AEW Women’s World Champion Timeless Toni Storm coming in second at No. 2. The holiday issue featuring the full list is currently available HERE. Here’s how the Top 10 panned out:
1. Mercedes Mone
2. Toni Storm
3. Saya Kamitani
4. Tiffany Stratton
5. Stephanie Vaquer
6. Iyo Sky
7. Athena
8. Sareee
9. Naomi
10. Rhea Ripley
PWI uses an evaluation criteria from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025, creating its rankings based on In-Ring Achievement, Influence, Technical Ability, Competition, and Activity judged as criteria.
During that time period, Mone remained AEW TBS Champion, which she won in May 2024, won the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, the CMLL Women’s Championship, and titles in various other indie promotions.
Mercedes Mone currently holds 12 singles titles, including the TBS Title and the ROH Women’s World TV Title. Mercedes Mone will once again be in action at AEW Full Gear 2025 later this month.
At the upcoming pay-per-view event, Mone looks to add yet another title to her collection as she challenges Kris Statlander for the AEW Women’s World Championship. AEW Full Gear 2025 takes place at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on Saturday, November 22. The event will be broadcast live on pay-per-view.
