Mick Foley Does ALS Ice Bucket Challenge In Support Of Rebel

Mick Foley is the latest wrestling star to participate in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge in support of Rebel and ALS research. The AEW personality posted a video to Instagram alongside Rebel in which he underwent the challenge that has been done by Tony Khan, Harley Cameron, Adam Cole, Britt Baker, The Conglomeration and more.
Foley praised Kevin Owens for his having mentioned Rebel on the WWE SummerSlam night two post-show and joked he was going to do the challenge with a “twist” by foregoing the challenge and instead challenging three other people (which is done during the challenge anyway).
Foley said he’s been through a lot in his career and noted some of his most extreme moments. Rebel pointed out that she had ALS, and he said it wasn’t a competition and that his body couldn’t take it. Cue Britt Baker, who came in with the ice bucket water dump to Rebel’s delight.
Foley that he said he “barked like a big manly dog” and that he was ready to take on more — so Baker dumped another ice bucket on him, to his consternation.
Foley then nominated Kevin Owens, Kevin Nash, and The Rock to take the challenge. You can see the full video below.

“ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE
In all of my years in the wrestling business, I have known many tough individuals. But I can assure you — none are as tough as my friend @rebeltanea.
As you may or may not know, Rebel is valiantly fighting ALS — also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. While this would be enough to make even the toughest of person despair, Rebel has faced her condition with grace, dignity and a strength that I have rarely seen in my 61 years on this planet.
In wrestling, there can be a degree of loyalty with fans that can sometimes veer into tribalism. But as Kevin Owens noted, some moments and causes are bigger than that and this is one of them.
I hope with this #IceBucketChallenge, we can overcome that tribalism — if even for a brief moment — and come together as a broader community for Rebel. If anyone deserves it, it is her, and it is this cause.
With that in mind, I would like to nominate three friends of mine to participate in the Ice Bucket Challenge: Kevin Owens, ‘Big Sexy’ @realkevinnash, and…… *drum roll please*…… @therock!
