As previously reported, TNA apparently set up a worked shoot angle, indicating that Mike Santana wasn’t showing up at Full Sail University for the TV tapings and TNA Turning Point. However, Santana did eventually appear, helping tag team partner Steve Maclin beat the team of Frankie Kazarian and Nic Nemeth.

One night earlier, Mike Santana lost the TNA World Title to Frankie Kazarian on the live edition of TNA Impact. After last night’s Turning Point went off the air, Santana sat down and addressed the crowd, and a video of Santana’s comments surfaced online.

Santana says in the video, “I might as well keep taking my time because I’m a bit pissed off. I’ll be real with all y’all, I definitely didn’t want to be here today. After what happened, obviously — after what happened last night, I’m pissed off. I’m pissed at the world.” The wrestler continued, “But you know what, as I was sitting in my car, at the lowest point, I kept thinking, ‘This ain’t about me. All of you guys deserve for me to be here. All of you guys deserve to have TNA fight, and fight, and fight!”

Santana indicated that the stars of TNA will defend the promotion “until the death of us,” and told the enemies of TNA to beware. He said, “Everybody that comes from everywhere, beware! Y’all got the hottest, nastiest dudes in the world, and we gonna defend these three letters until the death of us because this is T-N-A!”

It remains to be seen if this could be the start of another type of TNA wrestling invasion.
