More Backstage Details On Bron Breakker’s Hernia

A new report has some additional details on the hernia that required Bron Breakker to undergo surgery late last week. As noted, the Vision member underwent surgery for the hernia and a report today noted that Breakker sustained the injury while he was flipping over the announce table in the opening of last week’s Raw.

PWInsider has now reported some additional details on the matter. While it was determined after the Raw opening segment that surgery would be needed, the word around tonight’s episode of Raw was that Breakker had been dealing with the matter as an ongoing issue prior to last week’s show.

While this will not be surprising to most considering the surgery was determined necessary after last week, the report also clarifies that despite the fact that it was an ongoing issue, it did not have any factor in Breakker’s booking during the Royal Rumble when he was attacked before entering and quickly eliminated. The booking was to kickstart his creative for WrestleMania, as was previously reported. The planned creative heading into WrestleMania has now of course changed due to the surgery being needed.
