More Details On WWE NXT Coming To ESPN Unlimited

A new report has a bit of an update on today’s announcement that WWE NXT will be airing on ESPN Unlimited. As reported earlier, The CW and ESPN announced that the networks’ sports programming will be heading to ESPN Unlimited as its new streaming home. That of course includes WWE NXT.

The news raised some questions about fans whether the announcement would apply to just weekly episodes of WWE NXT or NXT PLEs as well. It was announced on Tuesday that NXT PLE events will begin airing on The CW this summer. PWInsider reports that according to a source at ESPN, the belief is that the deal will include the entirety of CW Sports’ library and that includes NXT PLEs.

The announcement that the brand’s PLEs would be coming to The CW noted that it will start this summer with Great American Bash. The GAB does not currently have a date or location, though it has previously taken place in July in both 2023 and 2025.

There is not currently an NXT-branded PLE set for May or June. The most recent event was NXT Stand & Deliver, which took place in April 4th from The Factory at The District in St. Louis, Missouri and aired on YouTube.
