Tributes to Andy “The Butcher” Williams continue to come in after his passing over the weekend, with the latest being My Chemical Romance. As you almost certainly know, the AEW alumnus passed away on Saturday after collapsing at an independent event. Williams was 48 years old.

WIlliams has received tributes throughout the wrestling world, but he was also part of the heavy metal scene as a member of the band Every Time I Die from its founding in 1998 until they broke up in 2022. My Chemical Romance had a history with the band and Williams, with the emo band’s frontman Gerard Way contributing backing vocals on Every Time I Die’s 2005 song “Kill the Music.”

As you can see in the below video (original poster garrettharer on TikTok), the band dedicated their performance of “Boy Division” to Williams at their show in Phoenix last night. Before launching into the song, Way said, “This one’s for The Butcher.”
