Nattie Recalls Reaction To First Title Win In WWE, Lists Her 1990s Dream Matches

Nattie recently looked back at her first Divas Championship win in WWE and what it meant to her. The veteran WWE star won the Divas Championship at WWE Survivor Series 2010 against LayCool. She has since gone on to be a record holder in WWE with the most WWE matches and wins for a woman, among others.

Nattie spoke with MuscleMan Malcom for a new interview over SummerSlam weekend and spoke about that first title win and more. You can see highlights below:

On Her First Divas Championship Win:

“I mean, when I won the championship, I finally felt like — I felt vindicated for fighting for my dreams. And like, just even struggling to get hired by WWE was a big deal. It took me five years to get hired. So when I finally won my first big championship, I felt like I was finally touching my dreams.”

On Who She Would Have Liked To Have Faced In ECW, WCW & Old School WWE:

“Well, I would love to wrestle Terry Funk in an underground match if I was in ECW. WCW, — gosh. Rey Mysterio, Psicosis, you think [of] Dean Malenko, I think of the guys that could like — old school, like when when Chris Jericho was there. I think all the cruiserweights were phenomenal.

“And then old school WWE, I mean — I think the wrestlers that inspired me. We think of Bret Hart, Mr. Perfect. Randy Savage, Shawn Michaels, to name a few would be would be some that I’d go — Eddie Guerrero. Dream matches.”
