Rhonda Shear, former host of USA’s Up All Night, is back with a recently-revived, new edition of her Up All Night, which airs bi-monthly episodes on YouTube. Per the YouTube channel Kings of Horror, there will be a special wrestling-themed episode of Up All Night, titled “Rhondamania,” debuting on Friday, February 27 at 10:00 pm ET, featuring TNA’s Nic Nemeth and original GLOW star Jeanne “Hollywood” Basone.
The Up All Night premiere episode, with TNA Wrestling star and former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Nic Nemeth and GLOW star Jeanne Basone, will have the wrestlers competing in six rounds of hilarious competitions taking place in a full-size wrestling ring in Rhonda’s bedroom. The episode will be available to view at RhondaShearUpAllNight.com and Kings of Horror.
Speaking on the episode via a press release, Rhonda commented, “Nic was so down to earth, pure pro on camera, and naturally funny. He was a total champ both in the ring in a comedy sketch. I was really honored to get him onboard. And did I mention, he is drop-dead gorgeous!”
She continued on Basone, “As for Hollywood, she is just as beautiful as she was when she was on the original GLOW team, which was a trailer blazer. Jeanne is the face and embodiment of female wrestling.” She added, “I can’t wait to have them both back in the show. The fans are already buzzing about their first appearance.”
Rhonda Shear previously hosted the cult-favorite late-night movie showcase, Up All Night, on USA Network from 1989 to 1998. She also appeared as a special celebrity guest at WWE’s WrestleMania X in 1994. She served as the guest timekeeper for the WWE Championship Match featuring Yokozuna defending his title against Lex Luger.
The Up All Night revival debuted last Halloween. The show is produced as a partnership between Shear Enterprises, LLC, and Horror Online Video Store Experience, Kings of Horror.
