Note On AEW Changing Entrance Theme For Kevin Knight

Kevin Knight is no longer using Monteasy’s “The Jet” as his theme music, and a new report has a bit of detail on why. Knight previously used the hip-hop performer’s song for his theme, but since he turned heel and joined the Don Callis Family, he has been using “Final Approach,” which was created by Mikey Rukus and features SayItAintTone.
A fan question in the latest Fightful Select Answers Q&A asked what happened to the original theme song. Sean Ross Sapp noted that some people in AEW just felt like the new theme was a better fit for Knight.
Sapp went on to add that there are no issues between AEW and Monteasy, and that the latter has a lot of friends in the company so there’s no indication of issues between them causing the song to be dropped.
Knight turned heel at AEW Double or Nothing, attacking Darby Allin after Allin lost the AEW World Championship to MJF. Allin called Knight out for a TNT Championship match on last week’s AEW Dynamite, but Don Callis shut that notion down.
