There’s an update on the backstage reception for last weekend’s AEW All Out event. During the latest Fightful Select Answers Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp answered a fan’s questions regarding what the backstage reaction was to AEW All Out 2026, outside of the incident of Steven Borden suffering a scary injury during his tag team bout.

As previously reported, there was a great deal of concern backstage for Borden following his injury, where he was taken out of the arena on a stretcher and to the hospital. The good news is that Borden was responsive following the injury, and his tests reportedly came back positive.

However, regarding the backstage reception to the pay-per-view event outside of Borden’s injury, Sapp reports that it “was pretty positive.” Sapp also noted that the show was viewed as providing good in-ring content backstage, but AEW will also have a quick turnaround for its next pay-per-view show, WrestleDream.

WrestleDream 2026 is only two weeks away, with the event scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 17. AEW WrestleDream 2026 will be held at the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida. It will be broadcast live on pay-per-view.
