Note On Backstage Reaction To Big Cass’ Return On WWE Raw

Big Cass made his return to WWE on this week’s episode of WWE Raw, and a new report has some notes on Cass’ reaction to his return backstage. Big Cass made his TV return to the company on Monday’s show. He showed up in the ring and attacked Je’Von Evans after the latter’s singles victory against Ethan Page.

Cass also appeared in a backstage interview saying that it wasn’t personal and that he was back to “stack bodies,” with Evans being the first. Fightful Select reports that according to sources backstage, the returning star seemed to be “very happy” to be back in the company.

The report also noted that there were several reunions backstage at Raw, as he had not seen a number of the talent in quite a while.

Cass’ return was first teased to return in a vignette on the July 13th episode of WWE Raw. He was most recently in AEW as Big Bill and exited the company after giving his notice. Monday’s show marked his first appearance on WWE TV since his release in 2018.
