A number of WWE ID-contracted women’s talent got new WWE names on EVOLVE, and a new report has a note on the matter. Wednesday night’s episode of EVOLVE saw Valentina Rossi, Notorious Mimi, Airica Demia, and Fallyn Grey be introduced as (respectively) Gianna Capri, Sloane Jacobs, Anya Rune, and Veronica Haven. As noted, the signings were made well over a month ago.
Fightful Select reports that while the quarter got their new WWE ID names, sources have indicated that all four women can use their old names on the independent scene.
Notorious Mimi previously used the name Sloane Jacobs during a run in WWE in early 2022. She performed on NXT under the name but was released from her contract in November of that year. The four women worked a match on this week’s show to qualify for the bout to crown a new WWE ID Women’s Championship, with Sloane Jacobs picking up the victory.
