WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque appeared during the Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi segment on WWE Raw, and a new report has some notes about his creative involvement. The WWE CCO hosted the weigh-in between Femi and Lesnar on Monday’s show to build to the two stars’ match at WWE SummerSlam.
While Triple H did not get heavily involved on screen, PWInsider reports (per Wrestling Inc.) that he was hands-on with the segment from a creative standpoint. Triple H is, of course, the Chief Creative Officer for the company, and the report notes that he was “very much” in charge as the WWE Raw segment was ongoing.
According to the report, Triple H was involved as the segment was going down, including calling for an audible regarding Femi attacking the “security” individuals. The report also notes that the original plan was for the segment to take place later in the show but was moved to the opening segment.
Lesnar and Femi will meet inside Hell in a Cell at WWE SummerSlam, which takes place this weekend at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The show airs live on ESPN Unlimited in the US and on Netflix internationally.
