Oba Femi feels Bronson Reed learned a valuable lesson on what it’s like to share the ring with him at tonight’s Money in the Bank PLE.

As noted, The Ruler defeated The Aus-zilla in a highly physical match. Bronson did everything in his power to beat Femi, including using brass knuckles behind the referee’s back, but it ultimately proved to be a bridge too far for him to cross. Oba eventually put him away with his signature Fall From Grace to continue his dominance on the main roster.

At the post-show, Oba Femi said that Reed finally discovered tonight what it’s like to stand across the ring with him. However, he did acknowledge Bronson for being ruthless and unapologetic in his pursuit of triumphing over him, taking digs at Bron Breakker and Austin Theory in the process. Here’s what he said:

“Bronson Reed was gone for seven months. He missed all the pivotal moments in my career, so he didn’t quite understand what everybody else understood. It’s one thing to watch it on TV or see it on Twitter; it’s another thing to be in that ring with me. And today he learned his lesson. He finally understands what that’s like. And fair play to Bronson. He brought it. It was no secret that he had to do anything within his power to win, and he did. It wasn’t a secret; he didn’t hide behind, ‘Oh, I’m the future,’ like Bron Breakker, he wasn’t any distracted by any woman like Austin Theory. He brought it up. He said he was going to come out there and he was going to do anything to win. He was going to use the chair, he was going to use the brass knuckles, he was going to beat me down physically and mentally and he did, but it was not enough.
