Full WWE Smackdown Results from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (SPOILERS)

Tonight’s episode of WWE Smackdown is being taped in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and airing live on Netflix for international viewers. Viewers in the United States will be able to watch the show at its usual 8PM ET time on USA Network.

The go-home show for tomorrow’s Royal Rumble is set to feature Sami Zayn and Drew McIntyre going face-to-face.

Results from the taping in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia will be posted below starting shortly after 12PM ET.

* Cody Rhodes opened the show with a promo, noting the energy from the fans in Riyadh. Cody said he wanted to win the Royal Rumble for the third time and go on to face Drew McIntyre, which drew some boos. He added that Sami Zayn could be the one he ends up facing. Cody teased potentially going after CM Punk and his World Heavyweight Championship if he wins the Rumble. Randy Orton then came out and confronted Cody. Orton praised Saudi Arabia and said Cody is desperate, and that makes him dangerous, but nothing is more dangerous than “a viper chasing #15.” Orton noted that Cody isn’t the only one who has one the Rumble twice before. Jey Uso came to the ring and promised to win the Rumble. This brought out Sami Zayn, who spoke a bit in Arabic and said his goals are to win the WWE Title, defeat Drew McIntyre for the first time, and remain undefeated in Saudi Arabia. The Vision then hit the ring. Paul Heyman said everyone in the ring would lose. Orton challenged The Vision to a four-on-four match for Smackdown: The Vision vs. Cody, Orton, Uso, and Zayn. Nick Aldis made the match official.

* Carmelo Hayes defeated Rey Fenix to retain the WWE United States Championship. Fenix answered Hayes’ open challenge and grabbed the advantage early, but Hayes regained control with a jumping DDT. Hayes eventually hit the First 48 followed by Nothing But Net for the win.

* The Miz backstage told Ilja Draganov that he has no issues with him. The two shook hands, but Ilja tightened his grip and vowed to hurt Miz.

* Damian Priest, backstage with Nick Aldis and R-Truth, was confirmed as a Royal Rumble entrant and drew his number. R-Truth reacted to Priest’s number by saying “my bad” and that the number would give Priest more time to throw people out.

* Backstage, Drew McIntyre told Cathy Kelley that Sami Zayn was stupid for wrestling in a tag match right before the Royal Rumble. McIntyre vowed to do whatever it takes to retain his championship tomorrow.

* Backstage, Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky vowed to remain friends no matter what happens in the Rumble match tomorrow. Giulia and Kiana James interrupted. Giulia and Sky traded words in Japanese. Lash Legend and Nia Jax interrupted and announced that they will be in the Rumble match tomorrow. Everybody started to argue.

* Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss hit the ring to cut a promo. Charlotte said there is nobody better to have by her side as she wins the Rumble tomorrow than Bliss. Bliss said she had the same thought, except that she is going to win the Rumble, not Charlotte. Things got tense between the two. Liv Morgan, Roxanne Perez, and Raquel hit the ring. Morgan mocked them for fighting and said it will be one of the Judgment Day women who wins. Charlotte and Alexa challenged them to a match. Liv turned the challenge down, saying they had better things to do, but Aldis made the match.

* Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss defeated Liv Morgan & Roxanne Perez. The match went back and forth. Raquel got involved, but Stephanie Vaquer came down and took her out. Bliss ended up pinning Roxanne after hitting the Sister Abigail.

* Backstage, Jordynne Grace was attacked by Jade Cargill as she was cutting a promo. Officials ended up separating the two.

* Axiom defeated Johnny Gargano. Aldis added a stipulation to this match that Axiom would get his mask back with a win. Candice LaRae was banned from ringside. A graphic was briefly shown that seemed to reveal that Bron Breakker would be the #1 entrant in the Royal Rumble. Back and forth match that saw Gargano rip off Axiom’s current mask, followed by Axiom putting on his old mask and scoring the win with the Golden Ratio.

* Backstage, Ilja Dragunov said he wants another shot at Carmelo Hayes’ United States Title after he beats The Miz.

* Backstage, Trick Williams said he will win the Royal Rumble.

* AJ Styles cut a promo in the ring saying he wasn’t worried about potentially having to retire. He said he will kick Gunther’s teeth in and talked about potentially having his own retirement tour where he would face the likes of Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and CM Punk. Gunther came out and cut a promo from atop the announce desk, saying he will make Styles tap out at the Royal Rumble. Styles said he remembers Gunther tapping out. Gunther got on the ring apron and teased going after Styles but backed off.

* Backstage, Tama Tonga told Shinsuke Nakamura that the Nakamura he knew would have beaten Styles. He said maybe Nakamura should retire. Nakamura challenged Tonga to a match next week on Smackdown.

* Ilja Dragunov defeated The Miz. The Miz put up a good fight, and even kicked out of the Constantine Special, but Dragunov caught Miz with the Torpedo Moscow, then the H-Bomb for the win.

* A video package aired featuring Solo Sikoa who said the Tag Team Titles were for his family. Solo also vowed to win the Royal Rumble. The video was interrupted by a Wyatt Sicks video in which Bo Dallas said Solo’s greed would lead to his demise.

* Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Jey Uso, and Sami Zayn defeated The Vision (Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Austin Theory, and Logan Paul) via Disqualification. The Vision mostly dominated the match out of the gate. Orton eventually regained control for the faces and nearly hit an RKO on Paul. Shortly after, Drew McIntyre interfered and attacked Sami Zayn as he was getting ready for the Helluva Kick on Paul, causing a DQ. Afterwards, Jacob Fatu came out and attacked McIntyre. Zayn hit McIntyre with a Helluva Kick. Cody and Zayn both went to pick up the WWE Title at the same time, only to be speared by Bron Breakker to end the show.
