Possible Spoiler On WWE Name In Town For SummerSlam Weekend

A new report has a possible spoiler on a WWE star in torn for this weekend’s WWE SummerSlam. Fightful Select reports that Kevin Owens is Minneapolis ahead of this weekend’s events.
To be 100% clear, the key word there is “POSSIBLE” spoiler. There is, at this time, no word on whether Owens will appear on the broadcast in some capacity. It was however reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that both Owens and Randy Orton are expected to return “very soon.”
Owens has been out of action since April of 2025 due to an injury that required neck fusion surgery. He has worked as a coach on WWE LFG season three, which has been airing over the past few months.
WWE SummerSlam takes place on August 1st and 2nd from US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The show airs live on ESPN Unlimited in the US and on Netflix internationally.
