AEW star Queen Aminata shared a positive update regarding her recovery status on social media on Wednesday, April 1.
Aminata has been away from in-ring action since last October due to a neck injury. The injury prevented her from competing in the inaugural Women’s Blood & Guts match. She has since been posting updates on her recovery via social media vlogs.
On Wednesday, Queen Aminata revealed on X that she is finally “pain-free.”
“5 months ago, I could barely walk without pain. Training was impossible. Sleep was miserable. My neck and spine were on fire… but the hardest battle was mental. Today, I’m moving again. Pain-free. Time to rebuild,” she wrote.

Last month, Dave Meltzer reported via his weekly Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Aminata was set to return to the ring very soon. However, that has yet to happen.
Aminata’s most recent match took place on the October 29, 2025, episode of AEW Dynamite, where she teamed up with Jamie Hayter to take on the Sisters of Sin (Julia Hart and Sky Blue) in the quarterfinal of the Women’s World Tag Team Championship tournament in a losing cause.
411Mania wishes Queen Aminata a speedy recovery to the ring.
