Queen Aminata Reportedly Off Blood & Guts Due to Injury, Pulled From DPW Show

Queen Aminata is reportedly out of the Blood & Guts match on next week’s Dynamite due to her injury, and has been pulled from a DPW show as well. As reported last night, Aminata was pulled from her Blood & Guts Advantage match due to an injury. At the time, her involvement in the Blood & Guts match itself was called into question by Tony Khan.
Now, Dave Meltzer has confirmed on Wrestling Observer Radio that she is officially out of the Blood & Guts match. The move is not surprising given last night’s announcement; Mina Shirakawa replaced Aminata in last night’s match and is expected to be part of next week’s show.
In addition, DEADLOCK Pro announced on Thursday that Aminata will not defend her title at tomorrow’s Showdown in Cary II. Aminata was set to defend the DPW Women’s World Championship against Dani Luna. Instead, Luna will face Jada Stone. Aminata will still be at the show for a meet & greet.
There’s still no word on the details around Aminata’s injury, including how long she may be out. She last competed in a tag team match on AEW Dynamite.
On behalf of 411, our best wishes to her for a quick and full recovery.
As announced by AEW, Queen Aminata is not medically cleared as of right now to compete this week so her scheduled title defense against Dani Luna will not be happening. Queen Aminata will still be in Cary, NC tomorrow Friday, November 7th for Showdown In Cary II for all the fans!… pic.twitter.com/9ZyW3Tez50
