Queen Aminata Not Medically Cleared, Pulled From AEW Dynamite Match

Queen Aminata will not be competing on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, as she’s not medically cleared to compete. Tony Khan announced in a livestreamed video on Twitter that Aminata is not cleared after last week’s match. As a result, she will not be facing Megan Bayne on tonight’s show.
Aminata was set to face Bayne in part of the series to determine advantage in the women’s Blood & Guts match. Instead, Mina Shirakawa will face Bayne. Toni Storm will be on commentary for the match.
Khan noted doctors are skeptical about Aminata’s ability to compete in Blood & Guts next week. He said that Shirakawa is “in the field” and may take Animata’s place in Blood & Guts as well.
Details on Queen Aminata’s injury are not clear. Dyanmite airs live tonight on TBS and HBO Max internationally from the Bayou Music Center in Houston, Texas. 411 will have coverage starting at 7:30 PM/4:30 PM.
