WWE Superstar R-Truth has finally provided an update on his status following a nasty landing this past Friday night on SmackDown.
As noted, Truth landed awkwardly on his neck after delivering a Missile Dropkick to friend-turned-foe Damian Priest during their grudge match last Friday and was knocked out. The referee immediately threw up the X sign, and the match was called off.
Earlier today, R-Truth took to social media to assure his fans that he is doing okay. He thanked fans for their love and support and jokingly claimed that Priest tried to “kill” him, referring to the latter bringing out a chair to attack him before Fraxiom intervened. Here’s what he wrote:
“I AM OK. Thank you ALL for your support, concerns, and get-well wishes. Wow, it truly feels amazing to feel and be loved. I’m grateful for you all…. On 10/16/2026, I almost passed away… Damien Priest tried to kill me; I didn’t think he was that serious… But ok, I’ll be back.”
