Rating & Viewership For NXT Great American Bash On The CW

The NXT Great American Bash aired on The CW on Sunday, and the demo rating and viewership numbers are in for the show. The PLE, which aired on the broadcast network on Sunday evening, brought in a 0.07 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 394,000 viewers according to Programming Insider.
Those numbers are less than last week’s WWE NXT, which did a 0.11 demo rating and 668,000 viewers. However, the numbers are not comparable for a number of reasons. For one, the NXT Great American Bash aired on an entirely different day and timeslot. For another, it was of course running in part against AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
The top spot for the night went to MLB game on NBC with a 0.57 demo rating and 3.266 million viewers. Second place went to the BET Awards with a 0.46 and 1.420 million viewers.
There are no previous NXT PLE ratings to compare the show to. The last portion of a PLE to air on traditional TV that we have numbers for is the ESPN first hour airing of WWE Backlash, which did a 0.33 demo rating and 998,000 viewers. (No numbers are in for Night of Champions’ ESPN simulcast).
