Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. could be in line for another championship run in AEW within the next six months, according to a new report from Fightful Select.

After a lengthy absence of almost two years, Baker returned to AEW and aligned with Persephone at All In: London after interfering in Persephone’s TBS Championship match against Maya World. Persephone won the title.

Baker last competed for AEW in November 2024 before her extended absence. Sean Ross Sapp was asked during a recent Q&A when Baker could become a champion again following her return at AEW All In: London and if she could face Mercedes Mone at Full Gear or All Out.

He noted that Baker has “a really good chance” of becoming a TBS or Tag Team Champion in the next six months. The direction could depend on her new alliance with Persephone.

If their partnership does not last, Britt Baker could pursue the TBS Championship herself. If their alliance continues, she could instead remain in the tag team picture and pursue championship gold with a partner.

Fightful Select also noted that Deonna Purrazzo had previously expressed interest in teaming with Baker. Purrazzo’s interest could provide another potential option for Baker in the tag team division.

However, a rematch with Mercedes Moné does not appear to be expected immediately. Despite her expressing interest in revisiting their 2024 All In match, Sapp noted that Baker is not currently expected to challenge her for the AEW Women’s World Championship. Moné won the championship from Willow Nightingale at All In: London.
