AAA World Cruiserweight Champion Rey Fenix aims to defend his title all over the world.
Fenix captured the AAA World Cruiserweight Title from Laredo Kid at Noche de Los Grandes Week One. On last night’s SmackDown, he scripted history, as he became the first person to defend the title for the first time on WWE television.
Fenix put his title on the line against Axiom. The closing moments of a highly explosive back-and-forth encounter saw Fenix plant Axiom with the Mexican Muscle Buster to pick up the win.
In a video posted by WWE Español earlier today, Rey Fenix said that he wants to defend the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship across WWE and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide shows.
He said:
“I want to defend this title all over the world. Raw, SmackDown, NXT, AAA—it doesn’t matter. Rey Fenix es el campeón.”

Fenix’s next challenger is set to be Lince Dorado, who won a Fatal Five-Way match at Noche de Los Grandes Week Two to become the new number-one contender for the Cruiserweight Championship.
