Rey Fenix Retains AAA Cruiserweight Title Against Axiom On WWE Smackdown

Rey Fenix brought the AAA Cruiserweight Championship to WWE Smackdown, defending it against Axiom on this week’s show. Fenix appeared on Friday night’s episode and defended the championship against the Fraxiom member.

The match went almost 12 and a half minutes, with Fenix picking up the victory to retain the title. The finish saw Axiom hit a Spanish Fly or a nearfall and then go for the Golden Ratio, but he got caught with a superkick. Fenix then hit some Spinning Animal Kicks followed by the Mexican Muscle Buster for the pinfall victory. You can see clips from the WWE Smackdown match below.

Rey Fenix’s title reign now stands at 13 days. He won the title from Laredo Kid at AAA Noche de Los Grandes on May 30th.
