Rey Fénix to Host Open Challenge for AAA World Cruiserweight Title at Héroes Inmortales Week Two as Mini Vikingo Rules Himself Out Due to Impending Surgery

Mini Vikingo has been officially ruled out of next week’s AAA World Cruiserweight Championship match against Rey Fénix due to an injury.

At AAA Héroes Inmortales Week One, the 18-year-old informed Fénix that he wouldn’t be able to compete in the championship match next Saturday due to an elbow injury he suffered while competing in NXT. Vikingo revealed that doctors have advised him to undergo surgery.

Mini Vikingo last wrestled on the October 13th edition of NXT, where he teamed up with Chazz ‘Starboy’ Hall in a losing cause against The Vanity Project. He was scheduled to compete on this week’s NXT, but the youngster was pulled due to the aforementioned injury.

Fénix stated that he will host an Open Challenge for the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship next Saturday.
