Rey Mysterio has been a part of several iconic matches during his legendary WWE career. Last year, WWE introduced an “Immortal Moment” category to the Hall of Fame to honor some of the company’s most iconic matches.
In a recent interview with Adrian Hernandez, Rey Mysterio was asked to name one match from his legendary WWE career that he wants to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Given his illustrious resume, the legendary luchador understandably found it tough to list one match as a worthy contender for the WWE Hall of Fame. Hence, he picked two. Rey picked his match against Eddie Guerrero at WrestleMania 21 and his first-ever WWE PLE match, against Kurt Angle, at SummerSlam 2002 as the potential contenders.
“I’ll tell you what. I’m a big fan of Eddie [Guerrero] and I. WrestleMania 21: WrestleMania Goes Hollywood. And I’m also a big fan of my first pay-per-view with WWE. SummerSlam. Kurt Angle versus Rey Mysterio,” he said.
