ROH Reportedly Set To Tape Studio Show, Note On Potential Future Plans

ROH is set to tape a studio show next week, which could be a regular thing going forward per a new report. Fightful Select reports that Ring of Honor is set to tape a studio show on March 1st at WJCT Studios in Jacksonville, Florida.

There has been a lot of fan speculation about ROH’s plans going forward as AEW has continued to make signings. Over the past several weeks, talent like Alec Price and Jordan Oliver, The Rascalz, The IInspiration and others have bulked up AEW’s already extensive roster.

According to the report, sources in AEW indicated that the studio show direction could end up being the regular direction, with WJCT Studios a potential regular home in the future. ROH has typically taped content before and after AEW Dynamite and Collision tapings. In the past, ROH had filmed content at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. There was speculation years back that ROH could end up filming regularly at Daily’s Place, but of course that ended up not coming to pass.

There is still no word on a potential TV deal for the company. As has been reported before, WBD made an offer for a Friday night timeslot in 2024, which would have taken place at 10 PM on TruTV. However, Tony Khan passed and used the slot for a replay of AEW Dynamite because he felt that ROH could garner more money than was offered.
