Ronda Rousey Addresses Tony Khan’s Open Invitation To Return to AEW

As previously reported, AEW President and CEO Tony Khan said former UFC Women’s Champion and WWE Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey is welcome back in AEW anytime she wants. During an appearance on the Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams, Rousey discussed Khan’s open invitation to AEW.

According to Rousey, she’s not looking to join AEW and resume a schedule of wrestling on the road anytime soon. She said to Adams, “No, I — that life of being on the road is probably more time-consuming than doing training camp at home.”

When Adams remarked that Rousey had fun during her appearance at AEW Revolution, Rousey responded, “I had a great time, but it just happened to be in town, and my best friend was there. You know what I mean?”

Ronda Rousey made a surprise appearance at AEW Revolution earlier this year, confronting Toni Storm after she defeated Rousey’s longtime friend and training partner, Marina Shafir. Later on, Rousey said in a vlog that her appearance at the event was a “little bit of a **** you to the TKO group.”
