Ryan Nemeth Appears To Take Shots at CM Punk on Social Media, Alleges PED Use

TNA Wrestling talent and former AEW wrestler Ryan Nemeth appeared to take some shots at WWE Superstar CM Punk, alleging that the famously straight-edge wrestler is using PEDs. Nemeth’s comments appear to be sparked by a new viral clip showing Punk at a gym, sporting what looks to be a new, much stronger looking physique.

Ryan Nemeth wrote on his X account, “I love that straight edge guys are like NOTHING! IS! EVER! GOING! IN! MY! BODY! EVER! except PEDs which I will be putting in my body actually very often now because I do steroids, but of course that does not break my sacred vow. I am more disciplined than you :)”

Ryan Nemeth previously filed a lawsuit against AEW, Tony Khan, and CM Punk in February 2025, alleging assault by CM Punk, breach of contract, breach of implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing, and intentional interference with prospective advantage. Nemeth alleged that when both he and Punk were in AEW, Punk took part in a campaign to “terrorize and intimidate” Nemeth, including physical assault.

Nemeth, in his lawsuit, also claimed that an “infuriated” Tony Khan blamed him for having to terminate Punk’s AEW contracts. Punk and Nemeth’s issues appeared to start over Nemeth posting a tweet referencing Punk as “literally the softest man alive.” This later led to a backstage confrontation at AEW Collision in August 2023, and Nemeth was later sent home following the confrontation.
