Sarah Stock Takes Issue With Drowning Spot From AEW WrestleDream

Jon Moxley attempted to drown Darby Allin at AEW WrestleDream, something that former AEW coach wasn’t too keen on. Moxley lost to Allin in an I Quit match on the show. Before the loss, Moxley attempted to drown his rival in an aquarium. Stock, who worked for AEW as a coach and producer from March 2023 until earlier this year, posted to Twitter to express her concerns about the spot.
Stock responded to an AEW tweet captioned “SOMEBODY STOP THIS!,” retweeting it. She expressed her concern that kids would try to emulate the moment, writing:
“You know who should stop this? Mothers. With their remote control. This is worse than the plastic bag over the head. Kids are going to end up dead trying this stuff at home. @aew”
For further context, Stock agreed with Twitter users who said that parents should not let their kids watch content intended for adults. She also responded to one person who said the “Don’t try this at home” disclaimer applies, pointing out that there wasn’t one in this case.
Stock is best known on screen for her time as Sarita in TNA, where she was a two-time Knockouts Tag Team Champion. She worked as a trainer in WWE from 2015 through 2020.
