Note On Possibility Of The Elite Reuniting

The Elite have not been united as a group on AEW TV in a long time, and Sean Ross Sapp recently weighed in on the likelihood of them getting back together. The AEW iteration of the stable has had various members, with Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks as the constants. However, the three have not been aligned since the Bucks attacked him in mid-2024.

Sapp was asked in the latest Fightful Select Answers Q&A if he expected the group to reunite.

He noted that he did and that the Bucks’ on-screen spiral is likely the catalyst for going babyface. It was additionally noted that Omega, despite his various health issues lately, will “still wrestle here and there.”

Sapp pointed out that AEW is stacked on the heel side of the roster between the Death Riders, the Don Callis Family, The Opps and soon-to-return MJF. It would thus make more sense for the group to unite as babyfaces. The Bucks are currently being courted by the DCF but have yet to sign on board.
