Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins recently stated that WrestleMania 42 was a tough experience for him. Rollins battled fellow former World Heavyweight Champion Gunther in an instant classic at the event this past April. Though he lost the match, his performance was widely lauded, as this was his first in-ring outing since the shoulder injury he suffered last October.

However, the result of that match was not a big deal for Seth. It was Night Two’s main event between then-World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk and Roman Reigns for what he called “his title” that truly disgusted him.

Rollins recently spoke to Big Nick Turturro on Delivering Happiness, where he opened up about his emotions while watching two of his “worst enemies” headline The Show of Shows in Las Vegas. Here’s what Seth Rollins said:

“WrestleMania this year was a bit tricky for me, man. So, I tore my rotator cuff back in October when I was holding that title. I lost it. I had to give the title up. Didn’t get beat in the match for it. I had to forfeit it because I had to get surgery on my rotator. So I was out for five months.

“In the interim, CM Punk wins the title. Takes it into WrestleMania, and he’s wrestling, in the main event, mind you, my other rival, this fella named Roman Reigns. So you’ve got two of my worst enemies fighting each other for my title in my main event, and I have to watch that. I have to swallow that. So, it’s really difficult for me to feel any which way other than disgusted by the result.”

As it turned out, CM Punk and Roman Reigns delivered one of the greatest WrestleMania main events of all time, with the OTC eventually emerging triumphant. Listen to his comments below.
