Sol Ruca Gains DQ Win Over Becky Lynch at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Gets Laid Out In Post-Match Attack

Sol Ruca picked up a victory over Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch in a non-title match at tonight’s Saturday Night’s Main Event, but it wasn’t in a manner that she would have liked.

Becky didn’t even wait for the match to officially begin, as she threw her belt at Sol and started attacking her before the bell had rang. However, Ruca managed to fight back, forcing Becky to retreat to the ringside.

Ruca attempted her signature Sol Snatcher, but Lynch pulled Jessica Carr in the way. Carr subsequently disqualified Becky, awarding a victory to Sol Ruca. However, Lynch had the last laugh, as she laid out the former NXT Women’s North American Champion with multiple Manhandle Slams.

Later, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis, on behalf of his RAW counterpart Adam Pearce, informed Becky Lynch that she would defend her title against Sol Ruca at Clash in Italy next Sunday. Check out clips from the match via WWE’s X below:
