Note on Status of Former NXT UK Tag Team Champions Subculture

The latest edition of Fightful Select Answers Q&A had an update on the status of the wrestling stable, Subculture, specifically former NXT UK Tag Team Champions Flash Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews. The group, comprised of Andrews, Webster, and Dani Luna, was released by WWE in August 2022 as part of the NXT UK brand cuts.

The team later resurfaced in TNA Wrestling (formerly Impact Wrestling) in 2023. When asked what the team is currently up to, Sean Ross Sapp stated in the most recent Fightful Weekly Q&A Podcast that although the team was backstage in TNA earlier in May, there hasn’t been any word of TNA possibly bringing them in since then.

Sapp also noted that about a year ago, they were looking to get their work visas, and he believes they received them. Subculture reunited with Dani Luna last month at the Capital City Championship Combat Event Horizon show on November 28. They lost to the team of Myung-Jae Lee & The Savage Gnomes (Bear Bronson & Gabby Forza).

In October, they also teamed up in a losing effort against Legion of Bloom at an ATTACK! Pro Wrestling show in their native UK. Meanwhile, their stablemate in NXT UK, Dani Luna ended up signing with TNA Wrestling back in December 2023.

Luna is still part of TNA and competing in the Knockouts division. She’s set to face Indi Hartwell in a Dog Collar Match, airing later tonight on TNA iMPACT! on AXS TV. T
